When conditions get tough, you need maximum protection, and that's where the W-Series Waterproof Shell Jacket will help you bring out the best in yourself. It is a lightweight, 3-layer waterproof/breathable technical layer, designed for FAST&LIGHT mountaineering in the most demanding environments. Its ¾ asymmetric zipper and innovative hood design will protect you from wind and storms, even while wearing a helmet. The front zipper with a double slider not only allows you to access the inner pockets but also provides ventilation when the activity intensifies.
Made with the 3-layer eVent® DVStorm™ membrane, it offers exceptional protection with a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm water column and breathability of 30,000 g/m²/24h MVTR, keeping you dry and comfortable during high-intensity activities.
Notable features include fully taped seams, an ultra-enveloping hood that fits perfectly over a helmet, and two large chest pockets for quick access. Air permeability: 0.207 cfm (ASTM D737). DWR (Durable Water Repellency, PFC Free) treatment repels rain and snow, protecting the membrane from water saturation and thus enhancing its breathability.
Important: Avoid using deodorants, makeup, or sunscreen in direct contact with the membrane as they can contaminate it and cause irreversible damage.
The main difference between eVent® DVStorm technology and other waterproof/breathable fabrics on the market is the billions of microscopic pores inserted into our proprietary membrane, which start working instantly as sweat vapor generated by exercise begins to accumulate inside your clothing or footwear.
