The Sorona® Insulation Shorts are FAST&LIGHT thermal over-shorts designed to provide additional insulation in extremely cold conditions without restricting mobility. Their short format reduces weight and bulk, making them easy to carry and quick to put on when temperatures drop. Made from 100% windproof nylon and insulated with Sorona® DuPont® fiber, they deliver an optimal balance of warmth, compressibility, and durability.
The design is intended to function as an outer layer worn over technical pants, offering instant thermal reinforcement during stops, transitions, or low-temperature activity. Their lightweight construction, combined with partial-length YKK® side zippers, allows easy on/off without removing footwear. Insulation: 100% polyester Sorona® DuPont® bio-polymer, 80 g in the front and 60 g in rear panels to maximize compressibility and mobility.
Sorona® insulation is bio-synthetic, highly compressible, fast-drying, and sustainable, containing 37% renewable, plant-based content. The fibers absorb very little water, maintaining thermal performance even when damp.
