    The Breathout PRO jacket is a lightweight technical 3-layer hardshell that offers a high waterproof protection and outstanding breathable capacity. Designed for alpinism and ski mountaineering in the most demanding conditions. Membrane eVent® DVStorm ™ 3-layer with Direct Venting™ technology, providing waterproof values of 20,000mm H2O column and a breathability function of MVTR 30,000g/(m² · 24h). 100% thermo-sealed seams, the outer layer is made of nylon with a double density yarn with a hybrid construction  (15 and 40 Denier) that provides both high resistance and a perfect adaptability to extenuant movements. YKK™ Vislon AquaGuard® waterproof zippers. The Breathout Pro Jacket is ideal for high intensity alpine activities under the most adverse weather conditions.

    3-layer eVent®DVStorm ™ membrane

    95g² / m waterproof, breathable and 100% windproof. Hybrid construction fabric in 100% nylon of 15 and 40 Deniers.

    Waterproof: 20,000mm water column (JIS L1092: 2009 - 7.1.2)

    Breathability: 30,000 (g / (m² · 24h)) (JIS L 1099 B2). DWR (Durable Water Repellency) treatment repels rain and snow, protecting the membrane from water saturation and thus facilitating its breathability.

     

    Important: avoid using deodorants, makeup or sun creams in direct contact with the membrane that can contaminate it generating irreversible damage.

     

    The critical difference between eVent® DVStorm technology and traditional waterproof/breathable fabrics is the billions of microscopic pores built into our proprietary membrane that work instantly to vent water vapor (sweat) that builds up inside your apparel and footwear when you perform.

    We call this Direct Venting™ technology, and unlike other technologies, it doesn't need to get wet to work. It’s a 'dry system' that allows eVent fabrics to be fully waterproof and fully breathable – keeping you dry and comfortable in the widest range of temperatures and conditions.

    The eVent® membrane is the most breathable 3-layer polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane in the market. Thanks to its Direct Venting system, which allows sweat to evacuate immediately, it keeps you dry and comfortable even in the most extreme conditions. By applying an oleophobic treatment microscopically to each of the PTFE fibers to maintain their natural porosity, eVent® protects the membrane from dirt and improves breathability.
